Have been on Carbimazole for just over six months.It was slowly reduced from 40mgs daily to 20mgs after two months. Then after five months found to be over medicated reduced to 10mgs. The symptoms i had whilst being over medicated were extreme exhaustion, dizziness and insomnia to mention a few.I also have severe hot flushes that come every two hour at night . I just started this med, but my mood and thinking are noticeably improved. I've noticed a tendency to be overconfident (typically quite rare for me) and then regret actions taken. I have no idea what the impact on my weight will be, though I'm concerned as my taste in foods is changing. The shakes are annoying.
