Nifedipine is the best of a bad situation. I do not like taking medication - I'm very susceptible to the side effects. However once I increase my water intake, I realise I am not easily affected by the side effects

Tums is good for heartburn but it generally takes a few hours to kick in for me. I also don't really like the taste but that's not much of an issue to deal with.

It works effectively for me, but it doesn't seem any more effective than the over-the-counter Primatene inhaler. I purchased a Primatene inhaler after my prescription Albuterol inhaler ran out and have not since returned to have another prescription of Albuterol given. Primatene is more readily accessible, and a prescription is not needed from my doctor. I took this medication(zyflamend) on the advice of a nurse(cardiac) My bloode pressure went up the next day and my joint pain stayed about the same. I stopped after two days and my blood pressure went back to normal.

Pain controlled.....lowered prescription, because I had trouble sleeping. I was taking 4-6 100mg a day for pain after extensive dental work. Lowered to 2 100mg after 3 days for a total of 8 days.
