I was on so many medications, it is difficult to differentiate which medication was causing what side effect. The psychiatrist at the residential treatment center put me on the benadryl because I was unable to sleep more than 2 hours per night. The trazadone was not helping me sleep either. My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it. I am not crazy, I am on the wrong form of birth control for me. I have gained 30+ pounds and have NO sex drive. I am not interested in anything, and I am fat. That being said, I am not pregnant which is the whole point of the IUD. I am taking it out next week and going back on the pill; a new baby is easier to handle than anymore weight gain.
