Have been on Carbimazole for just over six months.It was slowly reduced from 40mgs daily to 20mgs after two months. Then after five months found to be over medicated reduced to 10mgs. The symptoms i had whilst being over medicated were extreme exhaustion, dizziness and insomnia to mention a few.I also have severe hot flushes that come every two hour at night . I have been using Bentyl for years as a relief for my unexplained stomach pains. The doctors say it's for IBS although that's not what I have. It helps control my symptoms that before I was in and out of the hospital for, for years.
