I started Piracetam on a Friday. I felt like I slept better and during waking hours, I didn't stress as much about things. I was very "mellow". I started getting a sore throat like a cold on Saturday. Then on Sunday afternoon, I felt a little feverish. By Sunday night, I had moderate fever and vomiting. I was in bed with fever for 24 hours. My original dosing was only once a day, but around mid-afternoon I felt horrible and my symptoms were worse than ever. My psychiatrist switched me to one in the early morning and one in afternoon and, ever since, the change has been ridiculous. although focalin xr hsa changed my appetite, it has done so for the better... i am still healthy, but i eat less, allowing me to lose a little bit of weight. i do have diarrhea sometimes but it is not often, and besides that, the only other side effect that i have noticed has been insomnia; if i take the focalin less than about 4 or 5 hours before i go to bed, i sometimes have trouble getting to sleep. other than that, it has worked wonders for my stress and ability to get things done.
