Got me out of severe depressive episode, but still experience afternoon depression sometimes. Don't like side effects either - cold all the time, OCD/paranoia/racing thoughts 2 hours before time for next dosage, extremely drowsy all day if take medicine in morning (have now switched to taking it at night). Because of afternoon depression, am also switching to new antidepressant to take with Geodon.

I initially started taking Clonazepam recreationally and realized that I needed to move toward actually obtaining this as a normal regiment. I am highly ADHD and have a mood disorder. I refuse to take Depakote (i have side effects to Lithium). I am aware of the long term effects of Clonazepam. I honestly was one to believe people need to handle stressors without the need of drugs. I do not like this drug. I feel like I'm having a heart attack sometimes, my hormones are out of whack, I'm having problems with being able to urinate. My vision is blurry. I cant exercize cuz my heart rate drops and I get winded and dizzy. I just don't feel good. I am having problems with my memory as well.

This drug was horrible for me. I have never felt sicker than when I was on it. The withdrawals were worse than opiate withdrawal. I was totally ill for two weeks-I couldn't stand or sit up without throwing up. I had "brain zaps," couldn't eat or sleep.
