I have been on Simcor @1000mg/20mg for 1 year and my test results in the lab are meeting mine and Dr.'s goals set but I emphasize lab reports. I am curious if anyone has had any physical effects such as tingling and numbness of the fingers especially at nightime. I also have a servere pain in the "funny bone" area. I had a bad experience with Nuva-Ring. I had originally been on the Depo-Provera shot for about 4 years before I decided to try something else. I researched and talked to my doctor, and decided to try Nuva-Ring. I received the gardasil shot about a year ago and now I have been diagnosed with high risk HPV. I am due to go see a gyno. next week and I am scared....I was never diagnosed with HPV only now a year later after getting the shot. Also, I have read that if you were already exposed to HPV prior to receiving the gardasil shot it increases chances of cervical cancer...why wouldn't my doctor tell me this?

I was considering Accutane for cycstic acne, but thought the blood tests, joint pain and peeling lips side effects were a bit much. This was a last resort recommended by the dermo I was regularly seeing, and I am pleased with it. I've been using it for several years for acne on my face and occasionally on my back as well. I was really against taking this drug to begin with. I've tried to keep a positive HOPE that this would help me. I have worse symptoms and can't differentiate what is symptomatic of the disease or the drug. The endocrine system is so complex and effects many other body systems.
