This was the last treatment prescribed after calcium blockers swelled my lower extremities and had ghout after my other treatments. . I felt better with bendroflurazide but after gout which I had been prone to (my first attack at 18 after a glass of port!) My GP would not prescribe again for me. But my blood pressure was down to 135 with benfdrofuazide. Which I would prefer to go back to and put up with the severe pain of GOUT!! I went on Moban in December 2009. It helped me at first but after a while, I have become more dysfunctional with my daily jobs such as showering and brushing my teeth. I have been struggling more with my school. I have lost weight which is a positive for me. But I also have had headahces causing me to take Ibuprofen up to 3 times a day at times. MY muscles have become stiff but my doc says it is not tardivdyskinesia because it is only one side of my body(1 leg,1 arm, 1 foot etc)
