I am 29 years old, and had been taking Lexapro for about 4-5 years. It worked really well for my depression/anxiety. I thought I would be on it for life. But the sexual side effects took their toll. I lost 95% of my ability to get aroused. I failed to get excited with 4 different girls and left them thinking my little guy was a dud. I recommend Tylenol because it does a really good job at relieving pain. However, I never abuse of this medication and it should never be taken while consuming alcohol due to the damage it can have on the liver.

I took this medicine to help with an infection with my IUD, my doctor warned me it would cause sensitivity to the sun, but I didn't except it to be this bad. It only take 5 minutes in the sun or shade and I am burnt and my nose has been burnt since I started taking the medicine. It did clear up the infection as far as I know, but I don't think I would take this medicine again.

It's interesting...It definitely makes me feel MUCH better. I initially caved into "drugs" after dealing with horrible panic attacks for two years. I tried to stay away from reading reviews because I knew I wouldn't take it then. I have to tell you, I have definitely gained weight, and whether it's from this drug or personal eating habits, I don't know. The doctor prescribed me this medication for my hypothyroidism and as of now there are no complaints about this medication, it has worked just fine.

This doesn't work for me. I have marked that it raises my stress level because, like another poster, it stresses me out when I go hiking and I can't be sure I will live through an asthma emergency. Luckily Advair keeps me OK.
