Before taking Topamax I had about 3-4 serious migraines a month--nausea, sensitivity, etc--and almost daily minor ones. Since taking it I hardly get the daily migraines and I only still get about one migraine a month due to my menstrual cycle. I have lost over 10 lbs on the drug (I am now 98-100lbs depending at 5'3") but my doctor doesn't think this isn't a major concern. I have been very satisfied with Levoxyl. I am not depressed anymore and I have more energy. However, lately I have had chills and goose pimples especially on my right side and arm. Some times in the evening after a long day's work I also get pain between my shoulder blades and needs to sit down. It may be something else?

Since menopause at age 58, I weighed 135 lb. I quit smoking 2-1/2 years ago and gained 15 lb. Lost that 15 lb. but then was diagnosed with emphysema 6 months after I quit smoking. I was started on Spiriva. Within 6 months I weighed 196 lb. and my A1c started to rise despite no change in diet or exercise. I went on a strict 1200 calorie diet, but couldn't lose.
