It helps some, but not a lot. I still have horrible reactions when I am around my worst allergens (ie: dogs, cats) even when I have taken Claritin 24 Hour that morning. For general seasonal allergies it does help keep them at bay enough that I can function. It can also help to dispel some of my headaches, if they are allergy and/or congestion-based.

I have been taking Pristiq for 4 weeks and it has made a major difference in my quality of life. I did not experience any negative side effects but then everyone's body chemistry is different. I feel so much better! My depression has lifted and I feel as if I have come out from a dense fog after 3 years of being on Wellbutrin. It is indeed a beautiful world.

my legs swelled and went heavy. I wasn't sleeping and not urinating freqently enough. my mother is 86 and has taken them for a long time with no side effects. my husband has just been prescribed them although he is not over weight and walks every day to work and around his work place his colestrol is 7.5. we have been healthy eating for a few years now so this has come as a bit of shock to him. Comparable to Theraflu. The type of packaging mine came in was very convenient. Each application came wrapped in a plastic spoon and could be taken with you at work in necessary. It can be mixed with any drink and doesn't need to be warmed, which I liked a lot. However, you only get like 6 packets and you are paying more than you would be for other brands.
