I will usually take green tea when I feel like I am getting a cold, or if I have a cold, and it usually makes me feel better. From experience, I would recommend having it on an empty stomach, because it makes me nauseous.

Taking this drug made me very ill, after 5 weeks of taking it with no apparent side effects and being pleased to have given up smoking I suddenly started to find my legs shaky, in the next 6 weeks the side effects increased, I experienced severe panic attacks, constant shaking and muscle spasms, muscle weakness, pain in my joints and heart palpatations, to name only a few. This was the last treatment prescribed after calcium blockers swelled my lower extremities and had ghout after my other treatments. . I felt better with bendroflurazide but after gout which I had been prone to (my first attack at 18 after a glass of port!) My GP would not prescribe again for me. But my blood pressure was down to 135 with benfdrofuazide. Which I would prefer to go back to and put up with the severe pain of GOUT!! This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days!
