Advil is one of the best OTC medications for minor pains like headaches and toothaches. It's accessible and inexpensive, as well as effective with no negative side effects (for me).

Wow, Tom, I hope I am playing basketball at 75 too. I agree though, my Dad never took anything and he looks about 60 even through he is 78. I use a lot of indian herbs like amala, awhwagandha, and Gotu Kola which seems to keep me running, but my basket ball game aint what it used to be. Nice site here. Thanks

I realize the Ramipril has helped lower my blood pressure but the constipation is hard to deal with. It's the only drug I take and before taking Ramipril I was never constipated to this extent. I'm thinking maybe I should be trying something else or quit taking Ramipril to see if is the culprit. The reason I started taking Ramipril - I had a hysterectomy in Oct 2014 and that's when my blood pressure got out of wack and was prescribed Ramipril.

You need to report the muscle pain, you could get permanent muscle damage with cholesterol meds, I myself would not take it if you have muscle pain, this could indicate that it maybe is starting to damage your muscles and joints. I have tried five different statin drugs like baycol, zorcor and crestor....etc and they make me hurt all over, just got niaspan last night and didn't sleep and woke up lightheaded and had heart palpatations, probably won't take this either!!!! I am going to use... View full comment

i had been taking reclipsen for a year and i got bilateral pulmanary embolisms that the dr.s determined was caused by the birth control. so i would suggest that you should get tested for a birth defect called the factor v lieden...birth control tells you that it increases the risks for blood clots but not why....im thinking about sueing but im not sure yet
