M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. I woke up on vacation and couldnt sheep due to congestion. I had symptoms of a possible heart attack. I think it was heartburn/chest pressure and tingling in mt hand and lower arm. I am only 38 so I thought this was odd and did not wake my husband up to take me to the hospital. I was so scaredand have had symptoms for days!
