When I started taking Benzaclin, I didn't have any insurance coverage so I paid over 150 dollars for a tube of it. While it was very effective and did not dry out my skin, I could only use it for a short time because I couldn't afford it!

The initial hair loss was much more than I expected - probably half my hair if I judged by the thickness of my ponytail and lasted longer than expected probably 9 months from the start of my taking it. I didn't notice it too much for the first 4-5 months but I was also taking prednisone then. After I stopped the prednisone about 6 months in with the Imuran the hair loss became pronounced. I agree with the last person's comment! I never put it together before, that diarrhea happened when I used miconazole, but it's true, it happened again last night, and last time as well. Weird.

I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's! I had been having a hard time breathing for a few months and, knowing that I had asthma, I decided to get a refill on my inhaler. ProAir HFA helped me finally catch my breath and I've been sleeping much easier and waking up feeling more rested. Switched to Quasense after having been on Yaz for three years. Never experienced any side effects with Yaz, but I was concerned with the increase in price under new insurance and my GYN was concerned with the recent lawsuits. The first day taking Quasense resulted in severe cramping, feeling constantly on the verge of vomiting, and intense body chills. This lasted for almost two days straight. Needless to say, I called my GYN after some research and will no longer be taking this awful drug.
