I'm 31 and have had nephrotic syndrome with flares every 6 months since I was 2. Bone density test shows my bones are stronger than most healthy people, but I drink a lot of milk. When I'm on Prednisone I cut salt out of my diet as much as possible (there's a lot of salt in milk) knowing that the more I eat, the more I will swell. I love this medication. It is one of the only cough medicines that really work for me. It last almost the whole time it is supposed to unlike other cough medicines, because it's thick enough to coat my throat. I also love the orange flavor that it comes in. The grape flavor I don't care for as much.

I recommend Topamax to anyone who suffers from chronic migraines. The only two side effects I do not enjoy is the loss of taste with soda and slight confusion at times. It's never to noticeable, but at times it does seem I get a little air headed. I rarely suffer from migraines and when I do get one it's never as strong as they were.
