I was on Binicar for 3 weeks with no reduction in blood pressure. My values were 150/90 (monitored for three weeks with cuff) Dr put me on Azor. 5mg/20mg Four (4) hours after first dose BP was 135/72. I will continue to document reading for 1 month to see if the values remain low at different times of the day.

its a strange and unpredictable drug with dire side affects i have to say. i have epilepsy and when i first started it, it made me worse not better. eventually it helped to reduce absences but ten years later and now iv been suffering from a massive increase in tonic-clonic siezures and things like temporary paralysis! that was until i stopped taking it. then i went back to normal. it was deffinately poison for me, even after stabilizing me for ten years, suddenly it just went bad. iv ended... This medication was by far the worse treatment I have tried for my severe menstrual cramps. It made me so sick to my stomach that it felt like I had the stomach flu everytime I took it. I couldn't sleep at all, I would have severe night sweats, nausea, diarrhea, and just overall felt like crap. I wish I had never even tried this medication, what a waste of 3 months of my life.

Severe hypertension from childhood. Medicated since 1963. Anaphalactic shock due to medication in 1996 resulted in medication change to Micardis HCT. Five years ago, dosage reduced by half due to excellent control. Now 77 years old, very healthy, active, walk 4 miles per day in 70 minutes. Least amount of side effects of any medication I have taken in 47 years.

It literally helped me get some work done, but it also made me stress , and have severe mood swings like I was bi-polar. I could never relax, it was the worst 4 years of my life taking this medication
