I started taking Chantix two weeks ago, the first week was fine, while I was smoking, when I quit smoking on the second week I thought that I might have an immunity to the meds because I was climbing the walls... like you do when you are having a nicotine fit, by the end of the second week I developed a skin rash with lesions varying in size from a pin point to a dime size. i have been on and off cymbalta for about 4or6 years . its a nightmare to get off of, the one thing i really dread is the twinges im not sure if thats a good way to explain it, i feel like im getting an electrical schock treatment all day. i can turn my head and it happens. if someone comes up behind me to scare me it shocks my system. sorry about the non-medical terms, it obviously upsets me and makes me irritable. I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.
