The active ingredients of this medication are olmesartan medoxomil and hydrochlorothiazide.

This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is sometimes given together with other blood pressure medications.

20 Aug 2017 been taking Benicar hct for 14 yrs for the past 5 yrs I have been with joint pain hard to breath sometimes and intestinal bleeding its comes and goes been thru all kinds of test they havnt found a thing then I hear about the side effects of this stuff I think this is the key has anyone had black stole and they cant find out where your bleeding from ???

08 Mar 2012 It lowers blood pressure well in my case, but am concerned about some tiredness and difficulty with memory. Possibly the memory change is due to age, but did not notice it to be quite as pronounced until I started the Benicar about 8 months ago.
