I was prescribed levofloxacin to relieve my UTI. I was getting ready for a trip when the symptoms started, so I really hoping that it would work quickly. It didn't meet my expectations in that regard and I did experience some side effects, but in the end it got rid of it, so I am satisfied with it.

I take it for uti pain, but I have to weigh my options because I will have neaseau and severe stomach pain that fades to my lower back for about 5 minutes about 25 minutes after taking the medication. If my uti is causing extreme pain then i take it for relief but I suffer from these side effects shortly after. The pain ceases and the medication seems to go through my system quickly after that and my urine turns orange and i get relief at that time about 80% of the time. Sometimes for some s... Paxil did nothing but make my life worse. I even got divorced from a 45 year old relationship. It took me a painful 6 months to finaly break free of the withdrawl simptoms on the 3rd attempt.

When I first feel a cold sore come on all I have to do is call my doctor for a Rx Valtrex start right away and the cold sore never blossoms on my lips! Its awesome!!

Taken by a 16yo Lennox Gastaut patient. Seemed to increase partial seizures. Had 2 status seizures while on this med and began having Atonic seizures which she had not had in several years. Was very out of it and hardly sleeps. weaning this med now.
