Since stopping the medication Ive had horrendous side effects which have meant I've spent the last 3 days in bed and I'm still no better. I'm wondering how long these side effects will last. I stopped meds on Monday and have woken up I'll again today. I have sever hot and cold sweats, headache, muscle ache, nausea, general feeling of being unwell like I'm coming down with flu. Will I feel like this for much longer? It's debilitating.

This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. I decided my senior year that after suffering irregular and severly painful and stressful menstral cycles and being in a three year relationship I should start considering birth control. I've been on this pill for 5 months now and I would not reccomend theis pill to anyone! I was told it was the same as Ovcon 35 and it isnt. It makes me so moody and I burst out crying for no reason at all. Ive noticed my overies to hurt now, they never have before. I know nothing is wrong with them because I had a pelvic ultasound to make sure. It may be cheap but it isnt worth it. Im switching after i finish up this pack.

It is ridiculous how Drs tell you to take half the drug at night, so you will be trying to sleep while the drug is not trying to keep you alert and active. And being dopey in the day because you have not got enough betahistine in you during the day to get you past the threshold for it to be effective. Take most of it early in the day. It is pointless taking it after 3pm you wont get the best use of it. Most Drs are very ignorant in its use and wont prescribe even the minimum amount... View full comment
