When I switched from Imitrex to Treximet, I found relief was within an hour and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour it was gone. In the past, My severe Migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my Pharmist Richard for telling me about the drug...I had to ask my doctor about it and then she gave me a sample.

That's exactly how I have been feeling! I feel depressed, irritable, and very hungry! I feel like I want to vomit all the time! Last night, I woke from my sleep vomiting! To stop the queezniness I eat salty crackers. If the increase in appetite does not cause weight gain, eating fatty foods to calm your stomach certainly will. I have been on topamax for about 6 or 7 years now for bad seziures.. I have not had one spell since I have been on it.. I have not had any serious side ffects from thiis.. THe one problem i had was some numbness in my hands and tingling but it would come and go. My doctor is not weaning me off of topamax because I just do not want to be on it anymore no particular reason.. but i would recommend this to other people..
