Tinea versicolor is one of the most common fungal that causes white spots on the skin. I aquired the fungal after tanning in the salon. I tried selsum blue at first and I never saw results. Then I took ketozole and the spots faded after a week.

I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. I will usually take green tea when I feel like I am getting a cold, or if I have a cold, and it usually makes me feel better. From experience, I would recommend having it on an empty stomach, because it makes me nauseous.
