Terrible! Try getting off this medication! It messes up your brain chemistry. I ended up in the psych ward after the terrible anxiety after trying to taper off. I did not alleviate any nerve pain that I had or still have. It's cousin Lyrica is just as dangerous! I would not suggest either of these meds. Antisiezure meds should be used for that purpose only. This particular drug (100mg, baby blue capsules) did not give me many side effects. No nausea even on an empty stomach, no vomiting, very slight reaction to the sun. However, I noticed a marked increase in fatigue and depression. I have a feeling of being just completely wiped several hours before my normal bedtime. This drug is being taken once a day for 30 days to clear the increased acne as a result of taking Androgel.

Loestrin has been effective for me. My periods are much less painful and occur less than they used to (2-3 days every month). I don't bleed hardly at all and cramps are minimal. Also, I've lost weight on Loestrin and I generally feel better.

It helps some, but not enough to take when there are other drugs to help with allergies. The side effects are irritating and the benefits are not enough to keep take the drug.
