I take the drug as prescribed other than when I have bouts of sleeplessness or twitchiness at night. When this happens I stop taking the medication for a few days/weeks to reduce it in my system and then start it again.

This was a life saver. After suffering close to 15 years of serious insomnia, I found GABA. It enables me to get 5-6 quality hours of sleep whereas I could not sleep for more than 1 hour at a time previously. Whilst taking this drug has got my thyroid levels back to normal and has sorted out those problems, I am constantly batling cold/flu viruses that my GP and consultant do not take seriously. Thankfully new GP has ordered a batch of blood tests to check I'm not one of the unlucky ones who have their white cells wiped out! I had catheter ablation and was put on dronedarone for possible atrial fibrillation. I had atr-frib and a flutter, both repaired?. I have had a runny nose to some extent, severe itching in the groin and stomach areas with other itching on my sides, back and chest.
