Not 100% sure if all symptoms are due to taking carbimazole but have stiffness and pains in leg muscles and knees and also arms. Also seem to be bruising more easily and have hemaeroids and though not causing pain they are bleeding which is not coinciding with a bowel movement bleeding when passing urine, in between going to the toilet and when asleep. I have just stopped seretide to check my condition. First week off it cold turkey was full of angry and short temper. Now I have stopped my constant flem cough and feel breathing is far easier as well as more relaxed. Wasn't for me

Drug was helpful in the short-term (6 months); decided to quit with a quick 6-week taper 3 years ago because of weight gain, loss of motivation for virtually any activity, and overwhelming feeling of physical malaise; experienced truly horrific withdrawal symptoms (see www.paxilprogress.org for others' experiences) had to go back on drug; have now completed 1st year in what will be a 2-year taper off this drug. Stay far away from this drug; there are much better options out there for you.

I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan.
