I am a 42 year old woman who suffers with heavy periods and have done for most of my life! I recently started taking Norethisterone to help with my periods, which has helped. I suffer with anemia due to heavy periods, so regularly take Ferrous Sulphate, however this upsets my stomach and makes me feel ill, so I try and take the liquid form which combines Vit C with the Iron. Has anyone lost their taste due to thyroid medication cause i have and it's the most awful thing and the doc's don't no what to do about it. it's been like this now for 6 months. can anyone help please. was on carbimazole to start with but changed to PTU to see if it made a difference but unfortunately not.
