Went to the doctor after about two years of being in constant bummed-out moods. He diagnosed me with dysthymia (mild, chronic depressed state), and prescribed me with Celexa. After about a year, my moods are much improved and normalized, I can concentrate on tasks better, and I don't dwell on negative experiences. The main issue with the medication is that I think it makes me a bit more tired, though I have always required a lot of sleep.

This pil is horrible! Dizziness, depression, anxiety attacks, sex drive is non exsistant, can't eat, nauseous, diaharra, constipation, high blood pressure, tired all the time. Would not recomend. I was on it mroe than 6 months.

Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

My original dosing was only once a day, but around mid-afternoon I felt horrible and my symptoms were worse than ever. My psychiatrist switched me to one in the early morning and one in afternoon and, ever since, the change has been ridiculous. My finances are under control (because I can focus on taking care of bills as opposed to forgetting about them and then getting anxious), my work is a thousand times better and I am a lot more confident because my ADHD is being managed. It was a well prescribed drug for my scoliosis surgery, but the experience would have been much better with a higher dosage such as 7.5/10.0 mgs considering the pain involved in such a surgery.
