Cipro made my typhoid fever go away quickly, which was a big relief because it was such an uncomfortable illness. Itchiness ensued as I was ending the medication, but that also could have been due to the fact that I had gotten scabies as well - (I was in Indonesia)...

This medication made me feel worse. It is the worst medication I have ever taken. My doctor warned me that it might give me a bad taste in my mouth, but the taste didn’t bother me. What bothered me the most was the feeling it gave me. I became very nauseated and I couldn’t eat anything without almost vomiting. My stomach was in knots and I was very lightheaded. I would NEVER take this medication again.

I've noticed that I have become more moody and tired since starting Yaz and I expected the opposite. Also I've never had acne but do now. And I got brown spots on my face.

Ethosuximide
its a strange and unpredictable drug with dire side affects i have to say. i have epilepsy and when i first started it, it made me worse not better. eventually it helped to reduce absences but ten years later and now iv been suffering from a massive increase in tonic-clonic siezures and things like temporary paralysis! that was until i stopped taking it. then i went back to normal. it was deffinately poison for me, even after stabilizing me for ten years, suddenly it just went bad. iv ended... Doctor perscribed it for Strep. Literally almost had to crawl to the doctors office because I had gotten so sick and run down. He gave me Levaquin and by the second day of taking it I felt 100% better and was almost back to normal! Just a little residual coucghing the next few days- but definitely it knocked it out and FAST!

Were you on the generic? I was--and took myself off it. Had a lot of pain and memory loss. I'm back on the armour now but will be running out of it in a few weeks. The doctor wants me to take the regular Synthroid now.
