This is an indirect experience i would really like to share. My cousin, she takes grandpa three time a day every single day. She wont sleep without having it, so hoocked. She has been taking the drug for about 20yrs now. she is struggling from sleeping as a result she has got blemishes due to less to almost no sleep at all for days,just too bad.

I was prescribed prednisone for two months to help with colitis. I developed Avascular Necrosis of the hips within 12 months due to this drug. I needed to have my hips replaced at age 31. They said it is a rare side effect, but it isn't rare enough.

It's true that the taste is awful, and the bit of numbing is weird! But I have never slept better, and I wake up without any drug effects. I fall asleep about 20 minutes after I take it, so I plan accordingly. I find that it's less "yucky" if I place it under my tongue in such a way that I can make a tight "seal" over it with the rest of my tongue. I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. I take my prednisone when I am having an asthma flare which is rare, but the medicine does help tremendously whithin 1 to 2 days
