It needs to be addressed that this drug can help you and hurt you all at the same time...god forbid you try to get off this drug...its extremely hard...I never ever had cravings to drink..and this stuff made me want to drink like you'd want a chocolate bar or coffee and you know I had to give in..now i'm fighting coming off this drug and the desire for alcohol...neither of which are fun...I have been sober for 6 weeks now...and I can only imagine what this drug has done to my already damaged... Benadryl mildly helped my allergies but it made me very drowsy and out of of it especially the "Benadryl for Severe allergies" that I even fainted while I was at a doctor's appointment. No other medicine has ever made me so drowsy and I had never fainted before in my life. For these reasons I do not think I will take Benadryl again.
