Fluoxetine changed my personality dramatically. From being an overworriying, fearful, shy, caring guy to a agressive, irritable, not-caring one. I hate it soooo much this new person that fluoxetine has induced on me. Highly prrefer my anxiety than this. Also emotional flatness and loss of libido were severe. DON'T LET PEOPLE FOOL YOU, THIS DRUG IS POWERFUL AND CHANGE YOUR PERSONALITY.

I have found since I have been taking Betahistine that I have had shortness of breath on several occasions, which can be pretty scary. My mouth and throat feel quite dry a lot of the time, but that isn't such a big deal. I have noticed also that my nails have been 'peeling'. I don't know if this is related but it has never happened before I started taking Betahistine - and I have a pretty healthy and varied diet.

I was forced to take this drug for a colonoscopy after I vehemently told the Dr that I didn't want it and to use a painkiller and not an amnesiac. He told me he knew best and just used Versed. I have IBS, I was wide awake in excrutiating pain, tears were running down my face and I tried to scream that I felt like a weedwhacker was turned on inside of me, but I was totally paralized!!! Horrible joint pain, to the point I could not stand or walk. Took my nephrologist to discover it was the med and immediately took me off of this. They say that the damage should not be permanent, but it's been 6 weeks and my hip is still very painful, although improved. VERY frustrating!!!
