It's been a miracle drug to help get me off vicoden and fentynal. Couldn't have gotten off all the pain killers without it. But, I wish my doctor would have tapered it off after a few weeks and not kept me on it for 4 or 5 years now. I'm having severe memory problems and sort of feel numb to emotions.

My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything. My daughter began taking Ortho-cept in August of 2009. It was the only prescription drug or any other , besides an occasional headache medicine she took. On September 11, 2009, she became light-headed at her college dorm and passed out. She came to and went again to get her roomate from another room and passed out a second time upon arriving there after only being there a few minutes. For the first year that I was taking Yaz it was great - regular and much lighter periods, zero cramps, zero PMS. It was really wonderful considering I used to have very heavy and irregular periods, extremely horrible cramps, and pretty bad PMS (irritability, mood changes, bloating, fatigue, appetite increase, etc.). I was having the same problem, constantly tired this med worked when I first started taking it I lost 20 lbs and was feeling great but after I had my daughter the med stopped working, if you are going to change meds DO NOT take pristiq! took it only once and I feel worse and the reviews are horrible
