I took codeine very briefly for pain when I was ill with mononucleosis. It gave me severe heartburn, especially while sleeping, so I had to stop taking the drug.

Day 4..... migraine today..eating....hardly in 2 days, and have had anxiety bouts for last 3. I will give this 2 weeks maybe 3 and then that's it. I had taken zoloft for about 2 years....tried ambien..hated it and went off anything for about 7 months but the depression started to come back so I figure it's worth a try.

Around the time I started taking Daytrana, I noticed that I was sweating more often. I took Daytrana for about 2 years. I went to my doctors and none of them could figure out why I was all of a sudden sweating so much. When my psychiatrist decided to take me off of the Daytrana, I stopped sweating. Pain controlled.....lowered prescription, because I had trouble sleeping. I was taking 4-6 100mg a day for pain after extensive dental work. Lowered to 2 100mg after 3 days for a total of 8 days.

I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive...
