Dexedrine can act as an appetite suppressant. Although some may take advantage of this characteristic, I find that if I don't keep protein and small meals going and drink a lot of water I become edgy and nervy. Even if you don't feel hungry it is better to have a little something healthy (not sugary as this spikes and drops energy levels). I take this during the winter and whenever I'm around people who have colds, flu etc. It really seems to work well as a preventative. Once, when one child came home from school very sick with some croupy bug, my other child and I took Jade Screen for the duration, and my husband didn't. We both had just a slightly sore throat for half a day; he got really, really sick. Can't remember the last time I got a cold; and I used to get bronchitis regularly--but not anymore!

I tried for 5 days,and had all the worst symptoms you can. I even lost my mojo. After 5 days I stopped taking the medicine cold turkey, got my mojo back, and during withdraw I had the nicest dreams. I am going back to 5-HTP and other naturopathic anti depressants. They worked best for me. Better then being high all day and not sleeping for more then 2 hours at a time.

Hand tremor is the most obnoxious side effect of this for me. I take less of the med because of it, which means it doesn't work quite as well. Wellbutrin XL doesn't cause the hand tremors so I can take enough to be fully effective, but I can't afford it.

I was on Junel for a 2 or 3 years. I absolutely loved it. I went through a year and a half of hit and misses with many different types of birth controls. I did not gain weight, I actually lost a lot of weight and maintained a great weight or have depression. However, I did have a difference in my sex drive right before I quit taking it due to money troubles. good and effective drug no side effect all my problems subsided as per my physician i was taking this carbimazole medicine as per my body need to stabilize t cells and later stopped after my blood report indicate normal range
