Although i was perscribed Solpadol as a pain relief and still require it for that purpose, as an ex smoker of Marijuana i obtain the same relaxed effect with Solpadol and believe i have replaced one with the other. When my Dr will not perscribe solpadol i replace it with normal Co Codamol and Ibuprofen until i can obtain my next perscription. I agree with Eammon that when I first started Amisulpride it was like a dream, but as I continued to take it my side effects have increased at an alarming rate. I sleep less than 7 hours each night, I am restless, agitated, have high blood pressure, frequently urinate during the night, unable to concentrate, poor memory, more manic, etc. I was on olanzapine , which was making me too drowsy and the weight gain was worse. I use aspirin for my menstrual pain. My period is the worst period of the month, because it is extremely painful. But to deal with that, I use aspirin which is not bad. It relieves the pain at 80%, and since I have been using it, I can handle my period better, because it use to be so painful that I won't even go to school at all.
