the first time i tried it, it was FANTASTIC - but my blood pressure shot up and i was taken off - i got my blood pressure down. about a year later, i was so lethargic from Paxil, I promised to watch my blood pressure if i could take Effexor again, but it didn't feel as FANTASTIC - it was just OK.

Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. I only took this after my wisdom teeth extraction. It was really great for the pain and seemed to even help the swelling go down in my face. The main downside was that it made me intensely sleepy. I basically slept those days away and didn't eat much. Not too much pain though so I was satisfied and came out of the surgery just fine.
