This is my second round with Lisinopril. I took it previously, lost weight and came off of it. Then, after life's innumerable issues, my BP went back up. I've been on it now for about another year and the symptoms are worse than ever. I've gained an additional 30 pounds that I can seem to lose. The first few days I took Trileptal I felt "drunk" but that vanished within the first week. Cognitive side effects such as severely not being able to remember words and short term memory loss were severe the first few months, but tapered off so that after the first 6 months I wasn't and am still not sure if it's the Trileptal or getting older (45) that's causing the now mild effects.

Initially, Wellbutrin XL definitely helped me to get through my husband's one-year navy deployment, with me having to work part-time, continue working on my Master's degree, and care for my 7 and 9 year olds alone. That was 4 1/2 years ago and I am still on Wellbutrin XL. At this time, I would say my mild depression and anxiety, plus mood swings and lack of patience, are creeping back. I hate this stuff. I get out of breath if I walk up a flight of stairs or if I have to walk and talk at the same time. Erectile dysfunction is becoming more pronounced as well.
