i have no energy if i dont take it exactly at the same time everyday - i start to get angry, irritated, emotional... i start to feel rage - i cant control it. it gets worse and worse the longer i forget... i usually snap on my boss or break up with my boyfriend for no reason if i forget to take it in a 24 or 48 hour period.

I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. I've been taking Reclipsen for about 3 years now. Nothing drastic to my health has ever occurred. Around the time of my period, I'll typically have pretty tender breasts and drastic mood swings. I've had periods of time with depression and decreased sex drive, but it's difficult to know if it was the pill or just that period of time in my life. I would recommend this to another person but would also remind them that everyone doesn't have the same reaction.

This was a very, very bad experience. I was completely unable to sleep longer than 1 hour at a time. Over the 5 months I was taking this, that sleep loss added up. I was tired all the time, could not eat due to severe nausea, and saw things that were not there (this was confirmed by my husband). I was given this for my back pain after my auto accident. It had no effect on the pain that I was having and gave me no side effects. My doctor told me that some people it works for and others like me it has no effect. He switched me to lortab and I havent had a problem

Depakote ER

My doctor has had me try several different medicines for Bi-Polar disorder. We settled on Depakote because it seemed to do an adequate job with fewer side effects than the other medicines. It seems that since I have been taking it, I have started having more side effects. I have extreme hair loss (although it does grow back) and kidney pain. I have a constant fatigue. It has not made me feel better or "normal".
