I find that it soothes the pain but leaves you in an uncomfortable state at the same time. I have found suppositories to be much more efficient.

after reading several difffernt sites about the side effects of femcon, i think i have an explanation for my extreme nausea, sudden blurred vison, joint pain, ridiculous weight gain and digestion problems. however, i just saw my obgyn last week, told her of these issues and no connection (except the weight) was made to femcon. also, i am a runner and since starting on the femcon i have had an acute problem with joint pain and fatigue durring my runs, thus causing me to run at a slower pace... At first the drug didn't work. However when I started taking it regularly, same time everyday, it worked. My doctor told me to not drink anything 1 hour before I took it or 8 hours after I took it. That was a major pain and sometimes I found myself dehydrated.
