03 Aug 2010 I wish there was an easier way to take the insulin but I just have to do what I have to do. I hope they can cure diabetes someday.

04 Aug 2010 Hi there, I am an intern for RateaDrug.com. Measuring blood sugar and delivering insulin in a way that's safe, effective, and painless is something that the medical community is continually thriving for. For instance, there are insulin pens, pumps, and pills that you can use to manage your blood sugar level. Other ground breaking methods of insulin delivery include insulin inhalers, which have been recently approved by the FDA. If you need more information about what kind of options that may have available to you, speak with your physician. You can also keep up-to-date with breakthroughs by following the blog of interns here, visiting the FDA website, or looking up professional societies, like the American Diabetes Association. Thank you for your comment and hang in there!

24 Jul 2010 Insulin injections a really effective for my diabetes. But if I overtake it, for example when I skip one dose and I have to take the double the next time, it makes me feel extremely weak. I usually experience the side effects when I miss injections Once I almost entered into a coma, but I rushed for some sweet drinks and juice. When I experience limb pain, it is usually a sign for me that my blood sugar is elevated, and at those times i take an extra- injection. But the drug is efficient overall, just have to take it properly and on time.

24 Jul 2010 I guess the insulin injections lower my blood sugar, it is just satisfying enough. The thing is that I have to take it everyday, and injections, I don't really like it!

28 Jun 2010 I got Diabetes when I was 7 years old. I used to inject Insulin until I was 13, then I started using a pump to inject my Insulin when I needed it. It isn't something I recommend because it is how I live.

14 Jun 2009 i just wish that in the future that they would have more treatments for type 1 diabetics, because it is not fair that more treatments and funding are for type 2 diabetics. i know more people have this form of diabetes but people who suffere from type 1 or the other types of diabetes do not have lots of medicine and that treatments that exist for them.
