This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries. My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration. While they helped with focus, the tradeoffs were difficult. He currently is on Vyvanse 50 mg daily and began Intuniv 1mg three weeks ago and has titrated up to 3 mg. Insulin injections a really effective for my diabetes. But if I overtake it, for example when I skip one dose and I have to take the double the next time, it makes me feel extremely weak. How is it possible that product starts to cause severe stomach cramps, bloating within half-an-hour of intake, cause a debilitating abdomenal pain on its way to intestines, and triggers a strong diarhea within one-to two hours of intake? If this is due to Hexheimer Reaction - should I assume die-off reaction starts while Candex is in stomach? Is there candida in stomach as well?
