I started taking Yaz to treat my ovarian cyst problem. My doctor basically asked me which BC I wanted to be on and that was the only one I had heard of. I was in really bad pain, upper arms, wrists, knees, lower back & upper back (basically wherever I had hurt myself in the past). The doctor lowered my dosage, those pains went away, but now my mouth hurts, teeth, gums, etc. and my heart just started having weird rhythm and palpatations. My mouth hurts so bad, like the worst toothache you could ever have.

Shortly after being treated with Gardasil I developed strange cognitive issues, joint pain, bone pain, chronic fatigue, and many other symptoms. Recently these finally lead to a diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disorder called scleroderma or CREST syndrome. I have no family history of autoimmunity and there are others who have developed other similar illnesses like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. Definitely do not get these shots if you have a predisposition for autoimmune disease.
