prilosec otc worked fairly well for me. i'm not having stomach pains & heartburn as i was before. the only things i really noticed are i take the pill in the morning everyday. by the time it is the next morning, i feel the pain again until i take the pill. i'm hoping after the 14 day treatment that this does not occur because i will not be able to take the pills anymore. it is my 7th day on the pill & i've expierienced a piercing, stabbing headache in the back of my head & behind... Update. The worry over Lantus is over for me. I tried Levemir for a couple of months, before switching back to Lantus as it made no difference to the pain. Then I had a diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) a few weeks ago. This was after several visits to my doctor and a rheumatologist, blood tests and a radiological bone scan. I'm now on a lowish dose of prednisolone (10mg/day), with calcium (800mg/day) and alendronic acid (70mg once per week) to protect my bones from the steroid. Most... View full comment

i dont like taking pills, so i dont like the medication. but my doctor tells me to take it and since it works i keep taking it. it helps control my cholesterol and makes me feel better physically.

I've been taking this for over a year. At first like with any birth control I was nausea"s the first month when taking it but you solve that by taking it before bed duh! I love it haven't gained weight, start my period one day after stop taking it instead of waiting days and I didn't get mood swings or any other side affects

First time i have tried mucinex, usually fight off broncititus atleast twice a year, yes each major weather change spring and fall. Usually takes me 3 weeks to finally get back in gear each time. Tried mucinex this time took the extended release type 600 twice a day, it worked BUT I do have a warning to pass along.
