You need to report the muscle pain, you could get permanent muscle damage with cholesterol meds, I myself would not take it if you have muscle pain, this could indicate that it maybe is starting to damage your muscles and joints. I have tried five different statin drugs like baycol, zorcor and crestor....etc and they make me hurt all over, just got niaspan last night and didn't sleep and woke up lightheaded and had heart palpatations, probably won't take this either!!!! I was prescribed Cloxazolam about 7 years ago by a Neurologist in Portugal due to an irritating vibration felt in my head & neck, particularly when trying to sleep. The drug just helped me to sleep a little better. I started to reduce the dose to 1mg several weeks ago from the 2mg prescribed and then to 1/2mg 3 weeks ago and now I have stopped completely. I am alarmed about the increasing thinness of my skin and also by muscle cramping in my legs and, most recently, my hand. I am concerned that these symptoms could be caused by the drug.

This medication does not make me feel as drowsy as the other variaitons of Benadryl that I've taken in the past. However, it does not seem to be as efficacious or as fast-acting as Benadryl in relieving my hay fever symptoms.
