The Ultram caused slight dizziness in the beginning which stopped after taking it for a while. It caused really significant memory problems initially. Now, when taking the medication, I mix my words up sometimes; but I do not feel confused. I can pretty much function normally. But I would use this drug cautiously in the elderly! I experienced a allergic reaction after 40 minuets of taking my first dose. A itchy rash on my hands and lower arm. The reaction excelled to severe abdominal cramping and bloating. Took an allergy pill to control reaction. I am now back on progesterone suppositories.
