Zoloft has completely changed my life. For the first time I am actually happy and my severe OCD is finally under control! I would recommend it to anyone esp those with OCD. No side effects except weight gain...I gained 20lbs in 3 months. But besides that, the best anti-depressent ive ever taken. Prednisone makes me jittery, and gives me hot flashes intermittantly with chills. However, when weighing the benefits against the side effects, it is very much worth it.

THIS DRUG SHOULD NOT BE ON THE MARKET!!! It causes PERMANENT sexual dysfunction, swelling, fatigue, depression and sleep problems. Contrary to what Merck claims: these side-effects are NOT temporary. There should be a full investigation into how this drug got approved. It has completely destroyed my life! In 2003, I attempted to commit suicide as a direct result of the drug's after-effects. Other people are telling similar stories on the internet.

it was kind of annoying have to take the antibiotics 2 times a day. plus the added fact that it messes with birth control, made things difficult. other than that it was better taking the meds instead of getting lyme disease
