Worked great as an addition to another SSRI when I was having trouble with early morning wakefulness. Actually took care of that problem very quickly and I was very pleased with the outcome. I use this medicine as a blood thinner as recommended by my physician. It has given me no problems, but I don't know how well it is working for me. I feel no change.

Alprazolam is the finest and most effective BZD for anxiety and panic on the market and also the ONLY benzodiazepine (of the triazolo- class) recommended for people with a history of depression. The problem in the USA is that there are hundreds of brands/generics, but only TWO which would be deemed acceptable quality by European patients - original branded XANAX and the GREENSTONE generics. I have no option but to take prednisone but it has destroyed the skin on my legs and it is now paper-thin. I have numerous bruises and am prone to skin-tearing and as a resukt, cellulitis. Prednisone also caused severe cataracts which almost cost me my eye-sight, it has weakened my bones, and elevated my heart beat.

I was unable to finish the full regiment of Lamisil because my doctor had been monitoring my white blood cell count monthly and I experienced a substantial drop in white blood cell count after taking the medication. Even though I was forced to stop taking the medication I still saw results from the limited time I took the medication. And once given enough time for my toe nails to grow out I had greatly reduced the fungal infections on multiple toes.
