I had to take it after stroke to prevent blood clots. It makes my skin thin too. For example, if I scratch my skin, it bleeds excesively.

I have been in this treatment for the last five months. I am very satisfied as I have good and steady results and have not noticed any serious side effects. I feel safe and well treated. the dose I am taking has been steady for the last 4 months now. my platelet count varies from 50- 180.000. Thje only thing that wotties me is that the doctor cannot give me a plan as to how long I will be taking this medicine. I have not had a splenectomy.

it was prescribed to me for eczema -- severe nausea and vomiting/dizziness followed by the worst skin rash i have had in my life. Not fun.

I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects. Whenever I get heartburn, upset stomach, or diarrhea I use Pepto Bismol and it helps it all get better and I do not get any side effects.

Theraflu is very good. I take it when I cannot access Nyquil, but it still does the job. If you do not have time to sleep it off, then do not take it.
