I've ttried several pills over the past couple of years due the awful cramps I get before my period and none of them worked for me. Plan B is a great emergency contraceptive. It is accessible and relatively effective. However, it is pricey at 50 bucks and caused some hormonal imbalances that affected me emotionally as well as causing irregularity in my menstrual cycle.
